Has anyone seen a contract for Renegade oil and a restaraunt?
To date I've heard them TALK about contracts, THREATEN contracts, but I've never seen them PRODUCE a contract.
Also, just so everyone here know's about their sleazy way's of obtaining customers....
Whenever a new restaraunt pops up Renegade just "drops a barrel off" without asking permission of the restaraunt owner. This occured in Salt Lake at a new Chinese Restaraunt. Kevin spoke with the owner who told him this is how it worked. She called Renegade & said to come & get their barrel.
When she called Renegade, they said, "Well, we knew you'd be needing one so we dropped one off"....paaaalleeeeaaaazzzzeeee!
I think it's pretty cheesy how they do that! I'd LOVE to see a reporter do a story on their sleazy methods.
Anyway, that's pretty cheesy and sleazy. They've also been known to bully restaraunts here as well.

RICH and DONNA GARRETT <jrdgarrett at msn.com> wrote: Just a quick note about Renegade Oil: I have been picking up oil at a fast food restaurant since July. My barrel was next to Renegade's barrels. The manager told me it was with her if I collected oil and she even instructed her employees to fill my barrel first. Since I picked up oil weekly, Renegade wasn't getting any oil. Last Wednesday, the manager informed me I had to remove my barrel. Seems that the Renegade driver complained to her and she told him she did indeed grant me permission to collect oil and that was just free enterprise. Someone from Renegade's home office called the owner and told her that she had signed a contract with them and that my barrel had to go. The manager said Renegade didn't perform any service other than to pick up oil, so she was very sorry that the owner was tell her to have me remove my barrel.
I can only guess that the old liability line was thrown ant the owner.
If anyone knows of any establishment that needs oil picked up anywhere from North Ogden (where I live) to Layton (where I work) I'd be interested.
As a side note: The restaurant where I was collecting used corn oil Not the best, but the price was right. Required a lot of KOH to process.
Best wishes to all!!!
Rich
