I have been reading testing of runing streigth vegitable oil in diesel
engines. If you do, the diesel engine will last about 8,000-12,000
miles, than you will need to rebuild the engine. The coak build up on
rings, valves, piston walls, injectors and othere areas, You will
destroy a good engine, articles you read do not cover repairs.

I would like to start producing my own biodiesel but I have found the
gathering of vegetable oil to be a problem. Many sites already have
companies or individuals gathering their oil. Are there any solutions
to
this problem that you know of? Does anyone have experience with
burning
straight vegetable oil. I saw an advertisement in a diesel truck
magazine.

Status update:

I have been to the 2004 Wall Ave. location in Ogden. They are working
on getting their bio-diesel up and pumping, but they do not have it
flowing yet. They said they expect to have it soon, but it's not on
yet.

I have been to Brigham City many times and it's great (except for a
couple of times they have run out). I haven't tried any other
locations.

Cordially,
Corey

We are currently working on an outlet for B-20 in Ogden. It looks
abut 99% a go. We should have more information within a week.

I just filled my tank with B-20 from the Phillips 66 Mini-Mart on

3300 South and 300 East in South Salt Lake. The last time I was
there about two weeks ago, they only had B-10. The price for the

    B-20 today was $2.999/gal (Sun 6/4).

If you are like me and live in SLC and had to drive to
Midvale/Sandy

to buy higher blend Biodiesel, this is GREAT news. If you are the

owner of the Phillips 66 and read this, thanks for going to a
higher

    blend.
