Bummer but food for thought regardless...    There has been a lot of action related to this lately and I hope it doesn't give any negative taints on us locally...  A guy was also killed in Idaho last week at a biodiesel plant from welding on a (I believe a glycerin) tank...

There's been a lot of forum threads going on about this very fire.

Gotta love the portland tribune.
Leave it to them to throw a negative spin on it....

It's actually been a really positive thing for the community where the guy was. 
It was just the Portland Tribune that decided to go negative on it.

Here's a link to a great forum thread on it. The owner of the business that burned has been a part of the thread & has been discussing lessons learned, information on the fire & everything.

The fire actually came from faulty wiring in the building and had nothing to do w/ the biodiesel in the facility. The fire department knew about the fuel storage there & everything. It's been really educational to read through.
